My focus as I’m writing this is on something every thriving business needs: GETTING NEW CUSTOMERS. But this isn't going to be usual because I'm about to reveal a three-step plan I use as my approach to acquire clients online for me and even for business we work with. These aren't complicated ideas, they're simple, practical steps that can change the way your business operates. So, stick around because I'm about to dive into the world of customer acquisition in a way that's straightforward, insightful, and, most importantly, crafted for your business success. Your business is my passion, and I'm here to share what can take it to greater heights. As you know sharing is caring. But before we dive in, there are common misconceptions when it comes to getting clients on social media. Many businesses often make these mistakes: First one is sticking to old school marketing. Some businesses rely only on traditional advertising like tv, radio, billboard etc. And not realizing the enormous potential of social media. In today's digital age, being online is vital for business because that's where people's attention is. Second thing is ignoring what your audience says It's a big mistake not to listen to your audience. Many businesses don't take the time to really understand their customers, missing out on important insights that can boost engagement. Third thing is skipping real interaction It's not just about posting stuff, it's about having meaningful conversations. Some brands forget to actively connect with their audience, which can push potential clients away. Final thing is underestimating ads. Paid ads on social media can be a game-changer. But some businesses don't fully grasp the power of targeted social media advertising to effectively reach potential customers. Now that we've looked at these common missteps, let's dive into the right steps to get you more customers for your business. First step is getting to know your customers. This is where I really roll up my sleeves and dig deep into understanding my customers. I'm not just scratching the surface; I'm diving in. I discover who they truly are. What drives them? Where do they call home? Why do they choose my services or products for clients I’m working with over others? And, most importantly, how do my solutions directly address their problems and make their lives better? It's like piecing together a puzzle to create a complete picture of my ideal customers. I want to know them inside out, so I can tailor my approach to fit their needs perfectly. Second step is finding your potential customers aka prospects on the internet. Next, I'm on a mission to find the people who might be interested in my services online. It's a bit like being an online explorer. I look for them on social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn etc. I also check out who they're following and what they're interested in. This step is all about figuring out where my potential customers spend their time on the internet. It's like discovering their favorite hangout spots, so I can connect with them in the right places. Third step is talk to my potential customers and share my staff with them Now, let's talk about how I go beyond just watching from the sidelines. I actively interact with these potential customers in three effective ways: First, I create interesting and engaging content on the social media platforms they love. This content piques their curiosity and makes them eager to learn more. Second, I can team up with social media influencers they admire mostly for the case of my clients , who help spread the word about your products. Lastly, I strategically eye-catching ads on the social media they use a lot. These ads are designed to grab their attention and make them interested in what you have to offer. So here you have it, three easy, practical steps I use to acquire clients online, and I hope it was helpful in the way you approach social prospecting. So, I want to ask you a favor and share this to someone you know who might need it, and become valuable to them. To sum up, I've talked about the three easy steps to get new customers for businesses in Rwanda. I discussed understanding your customers, finding them online, and engaging with them effectively.
